Welcome to Athens! Upon your arrival at Athens International Airport, you will meet a local representative and then you will have a private transfer to the hotel. Check in procedures or room allocation will be as per hotel norms and discretion. Recoup and rest of the day free for optional or relaxing activities.

With equal measures of grunge and grace, Athens is a heady mix of ancient history and contemporary cool. The magnificent Acropolis, visible from almost every part of the city, is the hub around which Athens still revolves.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by an Exclusive Tour of Athens.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. The expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex. Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum. Return to hotel

Breakfast at the hotel, today is free to explore the city on your own or opt for the suggested activity. 

*Optional - One Day cruise to 3 islands (Hydra – Poros - Aegina) with lunch on board:

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning in order to take you by coach to the port for embarkation on the cruise ship. At 08:15 the cruise ship departs and sails for the first stopover on the island of Hydra. You will spend approximately one hour, thus you have free time to explore the unique island. Embarkation and sail to the island of Poros, separated from Peloponnese by a narrow strait and offering a most enchanting view of Poros town. Leisure time in Poros will be approximately 60 minutes. After two hours trip you shall arrive to the last port, the island of Aegina, where you have time either to make an optional tour visiting the Athena Afea Temple or to swim to the nearest beaches of the island.

Total time to be spent one hour and a half. Lunch is served on board during the voyage. 

Re-embarkation and sailing back to the port and return back to hotel.

Today, after breakfast you will check out and transfer to the train station for your 4h speed train to Thessaloniki. Welcome to Thessaloniki, which is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of Greek Macedonia, the administrative region of Central Macedonia and the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. The city is renowned for its festivals, events and vibrant cultural life in general, and is considered to be Greece's cultural capital.

Upon your arrival at the train station you will have transfer to the hotel.

Check in at the hotel and you will have a welcome dinner with local preparation.

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a unique tour around Thessaloniki. Starting with Photo booth an amusing way to take photos, share them and become a celebrity on the spot. Photos can be projected right there and then on a big wall - Strike a pose please. Photographic inspiration can begin right in your room, in your own photo lab then continue along with the personal English speaking assistance for a walking photo gaming in Thessaloniki!!  If you dig photography, it is such a romantic idea to lock your honeymoon memories and take some great photos back home

Today, after breakfast – Day is free for leisure or relaxing activities. 

**Optional tour to Meteora: 

A highlight of your stay in Greece will be a visit to the Meteora Monasteries. Meteora is a geological miracle, which one should see for himself in order to believe. Nowadays, only six monasteries are well preserved and four of them are still inhabited. You shall visit 2 of these fabulous monasteries, built high upon the steep rocks. Each monastery owns a vast richness of frescoes and icons. Afterwards, we will make our lunch break (on your own) in Kalambaka. Return to the city of Thessaloniki. 

***Optional tour to Pozar Springs – Edessa waterfalls:

An idyllic day trip combining total relaxation in nature. You can enjoy the therapeutic qualities of the healing hot springs of Pozar in the fascinating external natural pools, just where the nature established an absolute picturesque landscape against the view of Mount Voras, northwest of Aridaia. The healing water spewed out in a constant temperature of 37° C sets a feeling of body well-ness. The water is also known is for the drinking therapy (you can drink the water for body healing), revitalization and relaxation; a natural spa in the altitude of 400m against a fascinating scenery. We combine the relaxation in Pozar, with the city of Edessa where the biggest waterfalls in Balkans are located, verifying its first name as the “city of waters”. The water falls from 70m high, producing magical vapor clouds! Don’t miss this absolute experience!
