Our main Tour's Days Schedule
Our representative will meet and greet the guests upon arrival and assist with the transfer. Ulagalla Resort is nestled in a sprawling 58-acre lush green garden with a 150-year-old mansion at its centre, rich with cultural heritage and historical significance. Interposed within this natural habitat, there are 25 villas with private pools, cautiously designed and built to maintain the ecological balance of the surroundings.
Breakfast at the hotel, visit the Anuradhapura ancient city the kingdom lasted one thousand and four hundred years until it was invaded by South Indian Chola forces in 1017. Introduction of Buddhism took place in reign of king “Devanampiyathissa” in 250~210 B.C. with it, the city gained more prominence and the great building era began. During this time vast monastery complexes and some of the tallest buildings in the ancient world were built for example Jetavanaramaya, Maha Vihara and Abhayagiri.
