This is a beautiful drive, through the holy town of Rishikesh and later through the four of Panch Prayags of Devprayag, Rudraparayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag. The drive would be along the Ganges at first and later along the Alaknanda. Arrive at the lodge towards evening and soak in the beautiful views of the Alaknanda valley and the mighty snow-clad peaks of the Himalayas.

Overnight in Auli

Today we will drive to Auli main meadows (10 mins) and from here we will enjoy the thrill of travelling by a chair lift. We will reach the top most level of the chair lift and from here we start our trek towards Gurson. It’s a superb experience of trekking on the snow covered meadows with great Himalayas just in front of you. Highlight of today’s walk has to be the up close & very personal views of Nanda Devi & Doonagiri peaks that one gets along the trail. Spend some time in these serene setting and return to the lodge towards afternoon. In the evening enjoy bonfire with light music and dinner.

Overnight in Auli

Having completed the Snow walking part of the trip it is time to increase the excitement level as we move to the sport of snow skiing. After breakfast we will have a briefing session on the skiing techniques by our lead guide and get acquainted with the equipment. Today you will ski for good 2-3 hours. Later board your vehicle and drive to Kund which will take 5 hrs of road journey. Check in to the hotel and rest for the evening. Overnight at Verdant Valley, Kund

Wake up to the wonderful view of the Kedar peak. Post breakfast, drive for 45 min to reach main Chopta.  We start the day by climbing up the slopes of the snow meadow. The climb is demanding but short and extremely scenic. It will take about a couple of hours to reach Tungnath temple. After a brief stop for refreshments and rest carry on with your climb to reach the summit of Chandrashilla peak at about 4000m (depending upon the snow condition). The effort is going to be rewarded multiple times with views which are surely unparalleled. From the summit you can see big Himalayan peaks (Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and many more) and surrounding valleys in all directions. After capturing the views in your camera start walking down to the base camp at Chopta and from there get onto your vehicles and drive down to Kund where a refreshing shower and hot dinner awaits you.

After a leisurely breakfast you will drive towards Rishikesh/Dehradun airport. Trip ends here !!
