Our main Tour's Days Schedule
Welcome to South Africa! Upon your arrival at King Shaka International Airport pick-up your rental car and self-drive to your resort hotel, located in a luxury eco estate with insanely beautiful Indian Ocean views in KwaZulu Natal.
Rest of the day at leisure. With a variety of restaurant and bars available at the resort you will be spoilt for choice and the only difficulty is what to indulge in first. Whatever your mood there is a dining option that will suit your palate and occasion.
Breakfast at the hotel. After a leisurely start to the day, make your way to north along the Kwazulu Natal coastline to your next destination in Zululand - Emdoneni Lodge with Cheetah Project.
Join a tour of the Cat Project and learn more about South Africa's endangered wild cat species. Come and be mesmerized by the beauty of the Caracal (Lynx), enthralled by the playful Serval, amazed by the speed and agility of the Cheetah. View and photograph these amazing animals at the Zululand Cat Conservation Project. Daily educational tours are offered, with feedings during the afternoon tour and an informative talk about the animals and the project by experienced guides.
Today enjoy morning game drive in open game drive vehicles. This activity is a life time opportunity to spot Big 5 with resident guides. Enjoy a packed picnic breakfast or enjoy morning coffee/ tea with the magnificent views.
After breakfast and check out from the lodge make your way back down towards Durban via the town of St Lucia where you will enjoy a Hippo and Croc Boat Cruise on Lake St Lucia. Continue your drive to Umhlanga, one of the area's most popular coastal towns where you will stay for the next 2 days.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through to Durban - South Africa's third largest city and KwaZulu Natal's tourist hub. Explore the beachfront which is famous for it's beautiful beaches, lively wining and dining scene, and rich cultural heritage. The swimming and surfing are rated the best across the world and because of the sub-tropical climate the water is warm all year round.
Later enjoy a day at UShaka Marine World which offers a saltwater aquarium with indoor and outdoor displays and exhibits and a 1200 seater dolphin stadium.
Breakfast at the hotel, post check out drive inland from Durban via the Midland to the Drakensberg.
