Transfer to Dambulla, the ancient town in the cultural tringle and home to the best-preserved cave temple complex of the country. Visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage enroute, where the orphan elephants, who cannot be released to the wild for various reasons are kept. Check-in to the hotel in Dambulla for a relaxing evening and dinner at the hotel.

Wakeup to a beautiful Dambulla morning. Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Regarded as the one of the ancient construction marvels of the world and currently protected as a UNESCO world heritage site, enjoy witnessing the ancient technology in use to overcome the many obstacles of day to day lives of a challenging environment. If you still have enough energy left after climbing Sigiriya rock fortress you can have another adventure in the second part of the day experiencing an afternoon Jeep Safari at Minneriya National park - Being part of the elephant corridor which joins up with Kaudulla and Wasgamuwa National Parks, Minneriya National Park gives the opportunity to see herds of Elephants throughout the year. May to October is the best period to visit in view of the World-famous Great Elephant Gathering of the Asian wild elephants. It is rich with faunal species include 24 species of mammals, 160 species of birds, 9 species of amphibians, 25 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, and 75 species of butterflies. Return to hotel for diner and the overnight stay.

Early Breakfast at the hotel before transfer to Kandy- the cultural capital, and the last kingdom of the country visiting Dambulla cave temple (will need conservative dress code for the visit) en-route or you can pre-book  Habarana Village tour where you have to take about 250 meters walk to enjoy a catamaran boat ride and then visit to a farm house . While at the farm house learn you can see farm lands, tree top houses grinding paddy/wheat and village life style and at last get to enjoy herbal tea followed to a village house to enjoy cooking with the local family and enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan local meal.

Visit to the gem arcade and museum to learn the secrets of Sri Lanka’s centuries old popular export. Kandy city tour followed by the cultural show in the evening, where traditional Kandyan dancers perform their centuries-old dancing routines. Dinner and the overnight stay at the hotel.

Wake up to a what probably a cool and foggy morning.  Breakfast at the hotel and start somewhat a relaxing day with options of visiting some of the beautiful attractions surrounding Nuwara Eliya.  Options include Victoria Park, Gregory Lake and Hakgala Garden. Moon Plains in another popular attraction if you wish to spend the day on site seeing rather than relaxing. Dinner at the hotel with the overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel before leaving for Kithulgala. Situated in the banks of the Kelani River, Kithulgala is popular as the white water rafting and adventure sport capital of the country. Fast moving and narrow water of the Kelani River in the area provides ideal tides for rafting. Otherthan white water rafting there are many other popular adventure sports are available in Kithulgala like confidence jump, Stream Sliding, Waterfall abseiling, Jungle trekking. Bird watching and cave exploration if you are interested in any.  The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted, letting you to add another memorable experience to your journey.

After white water rafting transfer to your beach stay - Bentota is the most popular resort town in Sri Lanka and fast becoming the water sports capital of the country. Popular among the visitors looking for golden sandy beaches and some adventure in water sport. Visit Dutch fort- Galle en-route, another UNESCO world heritage site, and the best-preserved colonial fort complex in the country. check-in to the hotel and spend a relaxing evening by the beautiful beach. Dinner and the overnight stay at the hotel.

Wake up to the sounds of the morning waves crashing to the shore. Breakfast at the hotel before embarking on the quest to explore the piece of paradise island. All travelers while returning to India should submit a self-declaration form (mandatory) on the online Air Suvidha portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled travel, including the last 14 days of travel details. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to the authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution if found otherwise.

 

An intended traveller visiting Sri Lanka for a short stay, must obtain ETA prior approval for their arrival.
This is mandatory. Once applied , it can be tracked online . Confirmation will be notified ,print out of which would need to be carried by traveller. On arrival it will be stamped on the passport.
